Your Guide, Bill Lessman, has been fishing the pristine mountain lakes of
PA for over 50 years. He is a master at fishing the weed-bed laden lakes
of PA for Bass, Pike and Muskie in a float tube. Bill has the knowledge
and ability to put you on the fish.
Starting at age 4 fishing the Bridgeport Dam for Bluegills and Bullhead
Catfish from the shore,Bill then progressed to fishing from a boat for
the exciting large game fish in the upper mountain lakes. Then he
discovered his true calling, "Float Tube Fishing".
Float tube fishing for 15 years now, you will never see Bill standing on
shore or sitting in a boat casting. "Float tube fishing lets you get close
to the fish and to become part of the structure of the lake". If you have
never gone float tube fishing don't fret, Bill will show you all the
"basics" and has all the equipment you will need for this exciting
experience. Along with his knowledge and experience, (and some luck),
you will get that huge hit, usually right next to your tube.
Acme Dam Fishing has been nationally recognized in Field and Stream's
2008 article "Float Tube Freedom". Lessman was also featured in a full
page spread in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in 2007 and has been a regular
contributor on local sports-talk radio shows.
